About our Team, David F. DeVall and Rich F. DeVall
David F. DeVall was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1978 and to the Florida Bar in 1982. He graduated cum laude from Union College and received his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. He served for nearly 18 years as Assistant Village Attorney for the Village of Ballston Spa, where he represented the Zoning and Planning Boards and prosecuted local violations in Village Court.
Mr. DeVall is also a member of the Capital District Bankruptcy Bar Association. He has extensive experience in Bankruptcy cases under Chapters 7, 11, and 13, as well as substantial experience in adversary proceedings and other contested matters.

Mr. DeVall resides with his family in the Town of Galway where he is highly involved. A professional pianist, he has been the organist of the United Methodist Church for over 10 years and is an active member of the Galway Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. DeVall is Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps and is certified as a New York State Fire Police Officer. | | | | |

 | | Richard F. DeVall is a life long native of Upstate New York. After graduating cum laude from Union College in Schenectady NY, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. He is a former Rensselaer County Assistant District Attorney, assistant public defender, and counsel to the New York Senate. He is currently the Town Attorney for the town of Wilton, NY where he represents the Zoning, Planning, and Town Boards. Since his admission to the Bar in 1985 he has had extensive trial and appellate experience. Currently his practice is concentrated in matrimonial and family law.
Mr. DeVall has been in private practice with his brother David F. DeVall since 1988. Their offices are located in the historic Franklin Square District in Saratoga Springs, NY. He resides in the town of Wilton with his family.
He is associated with the Saratoga National Bank, and is a member of their Community Advisory Board. Mr. DeVall is also a professional violinist and licensed Bareboat yacht charterer. | | | | |
